Small Steering Colum Part needed.

I have a 90 f-150 4x4 6cly stick

I need the steering colum part that goes between the key/gear mechanism and the bar that runs towards the fire wall on the top of the colum

it is a small aluminum cast piece

i'm sure it is the weak point in they mechanical starting system so it probably breaks often

anyone know where I can get one besides a junk yard that is going to try and sell me the whole colum?

 

If you are referring to the actuator rod that operates the ignition switch you can get them at most parts stores. I recently got one for my '93 at Napa.
