Storm Chaser's TIV

Anybody watching Discovery Channels Storm Chasers.

The film maker who chases tornados built himself a Tornado Intercept Vehicle - or TIV.
He used an F350 chassis and built a custom body to withstand tornado winds.
He should get in touch with the powers that be at FoMoCo and work a deal for a new chassis/cab. (the tiv looks like it needs help).
It worked for Mike Rowe. (dirty jobs)
A couple of hours of exposure every week can't be too bad.
and
What else can you say about a truck that can stand up to a tornado?

The TIV weighs 14,000 pounds and skinned with sheetmetal and Lexan windows.

The TIV is actually built on an F-450 chasis. According to the discovery channel storm chaser site, the original TIV is scheduled to be placed in 'reserve' or 'backup mode' and replaced by a dodge 3500 tandem axel contraption. An artist's rendition is on the site as well and it resembles a 6 wheel flying saucer.
