I'm looking to soda blast my cab.... has anyone done this themselves???? My question has to do with sourcing the baking soda. Can I use the stuff from Sam's? Is there a difference between baking soda for blasting and cooking?
Thanks in advance.
Let me start out with, I don't know anything about soda blasting or the product in the link that i am providing. your question got me to doing a little research as I have seen soda blasting referenced before. From what I can tell it is not just your ordinary baking soda. This link shows different soda products for different applications.
Here's a good site with video...the media is the same chemical content but the shape of the grains are far more coarse. Answer to your question appears to be no, the big yellow box you buy at Sam's isn't going to cut it (sorry for the pun).
