Question Battery

I put 2 new batteries in my 7.3 about 2 yrs ago. I bought the Autozone Gold, they told me this was the best one they had and the most CCA. Now my brother also had the same batteries and had some issues starting his truck. Slow cranking etc. (me too)He was at the dealer one day for another issue and they told him he needed the Ford batteries. So he got them. Man what a differrence it makes. Now, I also have the Autozone Gold and have the same symptoms. I mean it starts and all but dosent crank over as fast as my brothers. So my question is this, Is there a difference? I was under the impression that there wasn't. Maybe the ford battery has more CCA overall causing the difference in the cranking speed? Im not sure, but it sure seems like there is some kind of difference between the two. Maybe we need to buy the ford parts after all? Thanks Jeff

BTW easy way to compare batteries is do a weight comparison
