Some people claim the Bosch plugs do a lot better . I dont know , any domestic & Japanese engine Ive seen with them the customer complains of rough idling etc . There was a post in the Explorer forum a few weeks ago , Same complaint , rough idle etc . I asked what plugs he installed , He said Bosch . I suggested he install the Motorcraft plugs , He posted back that solved the problem . They seem to work well on Euro import engines . Same deal goes for installing platinum plugs in engines that dont require them , waste of money as far as Ive seen . No benefit & a lot of times they complain of driveabilty problems . Motorcraft plugs do what they are designed to do .
Hi folks:
talking about plugs, what other engines uses the same type plugs the 300 use. I spent a hell of a time searching for interchange down here in Jeddah, Saudia Arabia. I usually get them from (Joblot Automotive), it takes 8-10 weeks surface mail. Just wondering if there is a substitution, P/N C5TZ-12405-A/Motorcraft BSF32. someone told me BSF42 or AC 45T3X will fit. They're not avail here. Thanks.

I know the mail to Saudi is being screened fairly closely, but if they'll pass thru customs OK, send me an email to pingman(No Email Addresses In Posts!) and I'd be happy to mail you a couple of sets. I use Nippodenso instead of Motorcraft because Motorcraft runs hot in my truck and the Nippos are about 99 cents each, versus 1.49 for motorcraft.
