I've read a few threads about levelers, and have a question . . .
I realize that from the factory the F150 has a "downhill" attitude, and that adding levelers will make the truck look, well . . . level.
But is this kit primarily for individuals that rarely haul a load or pull a trailer? I'm guessing that the reason that Ford built them with a downlill stance is because they level out with a payload. With the levelers, wouldn't the truck look like it's going uphill with a payload?
Yes, but that's why you get the 1.5 kit for the rear. I just put the 2.5 on the front of mine and the 1.5 on the rear and the truck looks so much better. It won't turn heads or anything, it just looks 'right' and should come this way from factory if you ask me. With both kits you are a little higher with a barely discernable downward tilt to the front.
a lot of guys on this site are running add-a-leafs in the rear to help with the look while towing. or, some like me are using airbags. they do offer different size leveling kits as well, to just give you more options. if you dont want to touch the rear, you can get a 1.5" front kit. this would help with the leveling look, but not be so bad when hauling something.
