i have a friend with a 07 150 4x4 with the 5.4 XLT and he is going to be putting a 6ft blade on the truck and i want to put a suspension lift in the front so it wont sag. i don't know much about the new 150 so i was hoping that someone in here may be able to help me out and find something.
I just posted 3" lift. Read it over, you'll find that I was quite happy with it. But you may want a firmer front end since the plow's gonna be there, up to you I guess. But the skyjacker is pretty sweet, comes with new front struts, rear add-a-leaves and very good instructions.I think they offer 4 levels of suspension ride quality- like factory, rock crawly, BAJA, & whatever- check'em out.
get the front coil-overs out of a F-150 heavy duty
get a 2.5" autosprings spacer
most (if not all) heavy duty F-150's are 4x2. this means the front end will drop about 1.5". the 4x4 coil-overs are 1.5" taller than 4x2 coils. the 2.5" spacer will offset this drop.
combining the two (HD coil-over and 2.5" spacer) will make the truck better for plowing and will also give the front end about 1" extra height.
I have an 01 7.3l diesel. and live in that forum and you guys in here are just as quick as they are thank you for the great info i will relay the information to my friend and hopefully come up with what action to take. thanks again.

I own a 2004 F150 HD and as far as I remember (the truck is a five hour drive away) the load capacity of the front axle is the same as my 06 without HD meaning that the front coil overs are the same.
