I have 2003 E350 V-10. I don't have cruise anymore. (well i get it very infrequently). I thought may be some junk got behind buttons on steering wheel. I dis-assembled and cleaned but I get cruise maybe one times out of 25. I couldn't tell you if it was the on/off button or the set button. Maybe neither.
Horn works, no air bag light , no codes from my code reader.
I yanked all fuses in PD Box and reinstalled. I also redid connector on CC unit and brake pedal. Now I have CC but I don't trust it. It has been intermmitent before....
I never recieved a recall but I believe they have now included vans in that. The only switch I see on the Master Cylinder is a 2 wire switch. I understand that the bad switches have bad diaphrams that let go and let brake fluid cause a short and then you get a fire. I should have the recall looked at anyway.
