I saw a 2001 Super Crew with about a 4 inch lift and 33-12.50's on it the other day. That thing looked really cool. Has anyone else seen this or am I the only one. Thought it looked good is all.
I was planning on getting a supercrew in the next few months. I also wanted to put a 3 inch lift on it with some 33's, but this ole boy told me that it wouldn't be a good idea because of the weight of the truck. He told me that i would go through tires like i do gas, especially if i traveled winding roads alot.
Huh, I don't really know I guess. I haveseen lots of lifted F350 Crew Cabs out there. I guess The added heft of the F350 Makes it possible. How much more does a Super Crew weigh as compared to a ext cab?
I'm not sure the weight difference between the two. I went to get my windows tinted on my four-wheel drive half ton about a month ago. I told the guy there i was going to order my supercrew in a few months and i asked him how much he charges for a lift on it. He said he wouldn't do that because they are real heavy, i'm not sure exactly the difference.

Sweet truck brother! My truck is identical, except for the suspension, wheels and tires. I'm going with an RCD 5" suspension lift, 33 x 12.5 Superswampers, and 16.5 x 9.75 Centerline Comet III's. I can only hope mine turns out as nice as yours!
Dont know who you were talking to but my '02 F150 Supercrew 4X4 has an additional 4"lift along with the stock " and man everywhere I go people are checking out the ride. Got my Flowmasters on two weeks and now trying to decide which intake to go with! No probs with the lift. Just do it!!
