Fun Image Editting

I was just playing around how I could make my truck would look like as an extended cab. It would be a fun challenge to do as I do have enough sheet metal to do it but not the skill.

That looks pretty good, as you told me once, "there is only one way to learn". And besides it's metal if it doesn't look right cut, chop and rebuild.

Hardest part i would think, might be getting the roof to look perfect, or maybe the body like on the side.

While I do have a spare cab and 4 extra doors and would use the Supercab windows out of the 78. The tricky part would be to get it to flow. The cab is wider at the rear than the front but if you extended it, then it would be straight. It would be a lot of time and money plus I would have to extend my frame.

I just had an interesting idea for a project. Too bad Ford quit offering the station wagon version on the Crown Victorias. It would be interesting to make a modern Ranchero. It would be sweet to do it off the Mustang but the unibody would make it a pain. Where as the Crown Vic still has a full frame and can easily handle a payload. Just got to stuff a 5.4L under the hood....

it'd be a pile of work for sure, but the joys of knowing there probably isn't anything like it around would make it pay i'm sure. and then we'll watch it sell on ebay...

A new version of a ranchero would be neat. I believe that someone on here posted a link to a austrailian ranchero, was it called a falcon maybe even?
