how would you guys like to see a john deere diesel in the ole ford.. haha wouldn't that be somethign.. now cat would be good.. but id like to see a john deere series superduty! tell me what you guys think!

I have thought about the combonation of john deere and ford also, only as a trim level, like the Harley Davidson addition, do a john deere addition. Talk about combining two great american brands.

Ford sold out their tractor/implement interests to New Holland a few years back.
I heard long ago that GM and John Deere jointly developed inline 6 in the early 90's. GM never used it in a pickup due to JD wanting it's name on the motor and JD emblems on the truck, since they would manufacture it. The guy who managed the biggest Chevy truck retailer in Texas told me that. Is it true? Who knows, I never heard that story again.

I dont know about that. Looks like New Holland is alligned with Fiat now. Years back it was Sperry/New Holland.

I would love that! Even just a Deere trim package would be nice. I'm the biggest John Deere farn. All my tractors are green and I won't drive anything else.
