Bypassing

I have a 99 Expy and I know the heater core went bad. I have lost all of the coolant and I need a quick fix to get to the shop. Can some help me and give me some instructions on how to bypass the heater core. HELP!!!!!!

I'm not looking at mine as I type, but there are generally (maybe always) two heater hoses attached to the heater core...one in and one out (the heater core is located at the firewall on passenger side). I'd say you could cut the lines and splice them together outside the core for a quick fix.

OK, did the quick fix but there is still a massive leak coming from underneath the Expy. Tried to see where the leak is coming from, I checked all the hoses and everything seemed ok. Where is the leak coming from? Need help!!!!

how about in the valley under the intake manifold? is there a steel line going to heater from the front on engine? if so you have to remove the intake to get to it.
