i'm not necessarily thinking about doing this myself, but maybe your answers will change my mind. First, what all has to be lengthened? I know 2 or 3 inches doesn't sound like much, but most of the hoses and wiring are tight! also, what about the radiator shroud? do you just discard it or is there some way to extend it down? do the shift levers all have to be lengthened? and what about the throttle cables? vacuum lines? heater hoses? brake lines? all this makes it sound like a suspension lift would be much easier and cheaper in the long run for both the wallet and sanity! chime in please those of you with body lifts! (Don't bother if you don't, i need hard facts please!)
Get a performance accesories kit! it comes with EVERYTHING you need, and really good instructions! the kit comes with fan shroud brackets to lower it. the only thing needed to be lengthened is the gas filler hose.
thanx for the reply 97! i was just wondering how they worked. Is there a company that makes gap guards or do you have to make your own? cuz the trucks i've seen without guards look like crap.
