need help with a purchase
I have a 24' pontoon boat and trailer with no vehicle to tow it! I was told an Expedition would be able to tow the weight (think it is about 3-5000#), then I was told that an Explorer would suffice. Since I want to buy used and not put too much cash into the SUV (it will only be used to tow the boat a few months out of the year) I would like your opinion on what would do the trick....and dare I ask about compeditors that are out there for the same purpose?

A V8 Explorer would meet the tow requirements.
