automatic transmission slipping???
hello!
i've got a 1993 F150 XL, 2WD Automatic-
the problem i'm having is that when i accelerate, and especially going up hill, the truck has no power, and starts vibrating with a somewhat low pitched slipping sound. this stops as soon as i release the accelerator.
does anyone know what this is or how i can fix it?

ok,
thanks for the help - i'll have the transmission checked out, and let you know if it turns out to be anything else.
the odd thing about it was that my father also has a 93 f150 and it is doing the exact same thing.
