Block heater
Is it possible for the block heater to get weak? any one know where to find a write up to replace it?
I plugged it in last night just to check the heater before it gets really cold (it was about 30F last night) when i got in this mornign the needle barley moved at all, i knwo there is power to it and when i unplug it it sparks just liek it always has, i just remember the block heater always brought the truck abouve the C on the temp gauge.
Anny suggestions?

I have not seen mine bring the temp gauge above the C when using the heater, but I know for sure that it works because when I use it I start getting warm air within 2/10ths mile of my house... otherwise, it's more like 3.5 miles.
There was a thread a while back where someone posted an ohm resistance value that is supposed to correlate with a good heating element. If you search for "ohms" and "heater", you should be able to track it down.
