Question Anti-Gel

What temperature should a guy start adding an anti-gel in the fuel?

The cold filter plugging point (CFPP) of No. 2 diesel is around 0° F, although flow starts slowing gradually as temps drop below 30° F. CFPP for biodiesel will be somewhat higher, dependant on the blend, kind of virgin oils it's produced with, etc.

It defintely gets colder in wisconsin then here in jersey but were good for some minus degree nights here. I've had my 6.0 for a year and a half and before that i had a 95 7.3 and never once needed to touch a bottle of anti gel. I usually try to get hess fuel never had a problem with the stuff but i've heard a lot of horror stories about gellin up

I ususally run DK power service so I started adding the white anti-gel bottle. I use the additive anyways so I put in the anti-gelling one.
