signals issue

seems i am having a problem with my electrical. i went to check my signals and high beams etc... for safety.I realized when i tried high beamsthe lights went dead? any ideas, as well turned signals on seems they only work when i push slightly on flasher. Last but least i went out to have smoke and noticed my signals where going w/o key in or signals even being touched anyway i took out the fuse and they stopped then put fuse back in and they started again,i am a little confused some help would be great.hope i am in the right forum to post this.
