Aviator and Explorer windows the same?

Anybody know if the aviator and explorer windows are the same size? I need the front 2 for my 03 Aviator but since there laminated they run $500 a piece, i can get the explorer ones for about $100. Some people say there the same some say there not. Anybody know for sure? Thanks

You could check with a glass shop. In comparison they do look the same. But a glass shop would know for sure. The Mountaineer is similar too.

You could also call 2 dealers and get the parts numbers to see if they are the same. Also, most junk yards should be able to tell you.
