The biggest thing you have to watch for is pin weight. Depending on make and model of trailer and how it's loaded, your pin weight (not counting hitch) will be between approx. 2300#to 2850#s.
Load your truck with fuel and normal gear that you carry while traveling and all persons that normally ride with you. Weight the truck (truck scales will weigh individual axles). Check your rear tires for their load rating and see if they will carry the pin weight.
I was pulling a 5th wheel with 2650# pin with a 93 F250 7.3 std cab 4x4 ( a lot lighter that your truck). With 265/75/16E tires I had a couple of hundred pound lea way on tire capacity. You may not.
