low boost, only 5 psi
I recently installed a boost gauge and i'm only getting readings up t0 5 psi but usually lower. I'm wondering if I have a kink in the line but was careful not to during the install and can't see any bad spots. It's on a 2001 7.3 PS w/ a DP 4 position chip. I teed into the map rubber hose and took the red line off the waste gate with no improvement. Any ideas?

Once you have determined your boost gauge installation is okay, do the usual checks:
Check for boost leaks

Check your wastegate actuator

Check your EBP sensor and tube to see if it is plugged
