Lacquer thinner is better than acetone, but I have not found a glove yet that stands up to it very well. The so called "Wax and Grease" remover was specically designed for this task and the nitrile gloves do not fall apart when exposed to it, but you should work in a well ventilated area or use a repirator mask to prevent exposure to these solvents.
