Ranger axles

I have seen on the 8.8 rear they offer 2 different axles one is like 19 spline and I think the other is 22 spline. Would anyone know wich one a 95' ranger 4x4 ,4.o liter would have?

IIRC they should all be 28 spline axles. Length might be different though.

Rear axle

Maybe I should have stated rear axle splines. 28 spline is the front axle at the hubs, atleast I think so. I need to know the rear spline #'s

You really should check again. Ranger's had 28 splines in the 8.8, Explorer's had 31 splines in the 8.8.

The FX4 level II also the 31 spline axles, the rest of the rangers were 28 as been stated.

Unless someone swapped it. Measure the axle tube. If it's around 3.5inches or so you have a 31 spline. Most likely you will have a 28 spline which is around 2.75 at the tube.
