new development 7.3 shaking and engine light
Ok guys heres the deal as of today. 7.3 with 92000 miles 6 postion chip ccv mod stock exhaust. My truck starts up fine then engine light comes on and the truck shakes a little. When its drivin it goes thru gears fine until drive then you feel the shake in drive and over drive, if you hit button to take out of overdrive it make it better but still is not correct. When the truck warms all this goes away and is perfectly fine. I replaced the CPS and glow plug relay. I did not check anything else because I wanted to see if there were any engine codes. Today I took to auto zone to check the codes because the light was on and engine not fully warmed ( running rough)by the time I got there. NO CODES Were found. I Understand when the under valve cover harness is apart a code will appear, with no codes present what do you guys think??? will the EBV send a code, or is there some else with this info givin I should look for? Thanks so much.

someone else will be better for the diagnostics of this.But I will say that autozone cannot scan for your codes.The scanner will not read a psd comp. for some reason.You would need auto enginuity I believe it is called.Its a computer program that you put on a laptop.About $350.Saving for mine now.Without rteading the codes its just a geussing game.But I'm putting my geuss at the U.v.c harness.Especially because its intermiten.Like a connecting making contact then bouncing free..Just a geuss though as I said.
