I have 2 87 f150 one 4x4 just bought and one a 2wd. I was told by the garage that replaced my cltch in the 2wd that i had a heavy 6 in it and it cost more for the parts. How do I now if the motor is a heavy duty or not? I would like to find out if the one in my 4x4 is or not. The both look the same and the vin number is the same "Y".
I plan on rebuilding the 2wd motor and beefing it up. Going to do a lot of searching on here for tips. I can no longer drive the 2wd it has become a donor truck for the 4x4.
What is a good set up for modification with efi? I wheel some and use the truck on the farm and to pull a trailer sometimes.
Thanks in advance for the repplies.
