As mentioned, bad mileage is the problem. Like really bad. Like 140km to a 60 litres or so. Is this normal? My truck is an 88 f-150 with a 351w.

Changing out the oxygen sensor if it has over 50k miles would be a good idea. When I did it to my 92 F150 with 100k miles--it improved the MPG by about 1-2 miles.
nobody mentioned it soooooo dont forget about the air filter :-p.. that and how you drive can affect your mileage by 6% so be easy on her and that should help some too...
might wanna change the intake air temp and coolant temp sensors..
could be in-range failures (and cheaper than the O2)
Thats what I was thinking. Those sensors can turn anything into a gas guzzler. Those temp sensors + the O2 sensor, high fuel pressure (check the regulator) would be the first things to look at. To get any solid info you would need to monitor those sensors in real time and compare to spec and/or hook up an exhaust gas analyzer to see if it is running rich. I would first analyze the exhaust gases. For the fuel pressure regulator hook up a fuel pressure gauge then see what the pressure with/without vacuum applied and check for fuel on the vacuum side of the diaphram.
Either that or you are expecting better MPG than something like this will give and what you are experiencing is the nature of the beast. You would need reading to tell for sure.
