Guages

Have a 2001 7.3 that has a trans temp guage, turbo boost guage and EGT guage. Trans guage is on pillar, other two are elsewhere. Currently not chipped or programmed.

I would like to go a little more high-tech and get the Edge Monitor with DP tunes. My question is....could I use the current measure points / wires / sensors or whatever they are....with the Edge monitor or would I have to run all new stuff?

if you want to keep current ones , i think you would have to run new ones, like Pyro since it might use diferent probe. trans you might tap in to your current sending unit, and boost in edge i think IIRC is tapped to map sensor wires, not boost T.
and why would you want edge?. its limited programming anyways. and it can only be programmed in 2D not 3D like DP chip can. so in you position i cannot justifie buying it. and HIGH tech its not always better, you wont have option of shift on the fly like F5 chip, you have to stop to reprogram it.
