5.4l hypertech programmer
i have a 2003 f250 5.4l, im debating on what kinda programmer to get. just trying to get some insite on them, if they really work or is it not worth buying. if any one has them installed please leave some feed back on them just letting me know how well they work.

YEA I got one bought it to firm up my tranny works good you can only get so much outa these littel motors with he tune set on 97octane you get 14hp 22trq also reset codes and the speedo if you change tire size you can get 15 more hp by useing elec fans and loseing the big fan on the waterpump you get a big help from letting the little motor breathe

the hypertech III tuner I got lets you change shiftpoints and change the speed limiter too and it dose let me change the speedo by telling it the tire size (you have to lie to the programer and tell it you have z rated tires) to change top speed limiter

might I allso say there are better tuners out there check the 5.4 fourm out somebody down there had a tuner with data maping so you could really tune your motor

dont get all waded up over this my tuner tells me it will the web site tells me it will I looked at there web site theres only one that does it and I got one of that model its no big deal Iam not trying to sell any of these tuners to anybody now I see they got that duel fule thing might see if i can get that added to mine

thompson does not need any misleading information if he is trying to decide on what brand of tuner to buy. People use this website to ask questions in researching products for their trucks. If you give them the idea that a product will do something that it wont, then they buy something that does them no good. He has a 5.4L and all I am saying is the Hypertech will not work for him when it comes to tire size and speedo recalibration. I am not getting waded up but it may be some other guy you lead in the wrong direction with a purchase that gets all "waded up".
