They said to try and tweak it a little to change the airflow through the grille. There really isn't much I can adjust on it.

Do you have the honeycomb behind your grille or was it removed by the replacement grille?
I am looking for a billet grille for mine also. Some ads mention the honycomb, which I have.

one of my billet grills whistled as well....i eventually got used to it...

They make this same grille as a bolt over for the honey comb grilles. I really like the grille, just unhappy with the humming.

Is it possible to use something like a rubber weatherstrip on the underside to dampen the vibrations/harmonics?
