Engine thermostat temp.
I was wondering what the stock engine thermostat opening temperature was in a 2003 4.6l (f150). Thanks.

180 degrees I do believe.

It's a 190F stock thermostat, not a 180.

Thanks for the reply. Funny thing, I was going to throw out a guess of 185F so I was right in the middle!

I think it is technically 192*F or something, but yes it isn't 180*. You may even be able to get a 195*.

I guess they vary somewhat. No lower than 190 for sure. Most aftermarket are probably going to be 195.
