electronic foot control problems
have an 2003 f350 superduty 4x4 , 7.3 my pedals quit working, my brake pedal is all the way towards me and the accelerator is on the floor. they move a little so no fuse is blown, is there a syncro switch or is it one of the motors ?

The motors they use for the pedals can fail. I've had one replaced under warranty on previous vehicles.
Also, sometimes they will get jammed in the full up position. If you push on the pedal while you hit the down switch it might free it up, or not.

Mine is like that too, I think its do to the plastic rack gear that they use stripping out. If you activate the switch while pushing the brake pedal forward you should be able to get it where you want it. I'm not talking about pushing the pedal like you would normally, but getting under the steering column and pushing the mechanism forward. Mine will come back towards me, but only the gas will go forward. Someday I'll look into getting a new setup, but for now I just tell my wife to move the seat if she drives the truck.
