I have 82 F250 4x4. built with a 351W and c6. Now has a 460.
The exhaust headers just touch the inside of the right (pass) frame rail but there is at least 4 inches of clearence on between header and left (driver) side frame rail.
Do ford truck engines sit closer to the right side or should it be centered exactly between the frame rails? The mounts and frame perches are from a 91 F250 460. Nothing seems bent.
theengine mounts are sort of adjustable. If you loosen the mount that goes onto the perch. One large nut from under neath on each side. Use a cherry picker and lift it a little bit and push and shove the engine to the side you want. Worked for my when my headers were tight. It should be relativly centered.
