Is Dp better for automatics and manuals or does it matter?
If I had a chance to get a TS 6 pos. chip for way less than a Dp would it be worth it?
Just wondering cause most people here have auto's and talk about how good Dp is on shifting, but my case I have a zf-6, so I guess my real question is....TS is it good or as good as DP or should I continue to save for the BEST?
from research, it appears the DP is more popular with automatics over the TS because of the TS's poor shifts that feel like they are going to tear the truck apart
in your case, i would say it is personal preference. personally, i would save for the DP, as i currently am right now

lol...i know, just wanted to get a few opinions. Done some research on here about TS and only found bad things about its shift points, but power seems to be good. I don't know guess I'll do it right the second time and get a Dp.
I believe kris aka strokin had a TS chip and is now running the results of live tuning from DP. He might be able to tell you what he liked and didn't like about the chip.
I had a TS and now have a DP. As you mentioned, I have an auto and wasn't exactly happy with the shift. You have a stick. I will say the TS made good power over stock. Way better than stock. I got the DP and can say it blew the TS chip away in the seat of the pants meter.
How cheap is the TS? Probably someone stepping up to a DP eh?
Tenn, the TS is only 200. They guy has it on a 02 with a manual. I rode in it and its hands down better than my supercrap. I might just wait till the funds are right for the DP.
I sold my predator at the beginning of the summer, but unexpected repairs has kept my truck stock without DP tuner. Wish I would of listened to the smart people on this forum that told me to get the DP in the first place instead of the Predator!!
had a ts and it had somewhat compareable power but it was so touchy off throttle. In an auto u may be able to get around it but in my zf 6 it just kept tickn me off. now the dp that im currently running seems to be gettn alittle better milage and also has a bit more pep in its step if u will. hope this helps u
I Currently have the TS performance chip. I had a Trans go shift kit installed in our Automatic trans and it shifts flawless. Im happy with it for now but i would like to ride in a truck with the Dp to see the BIG difference that everyone talks about.
I Am saving up for a dp tuner. I have just read so much good stuff on here about it that it convinced me to go with it. Now all I need is more money to get it,
