I'm gonna try to post again.
I have a noise that shows up once I hit RR tracks or a pothole. Kinda sounds like a hub dragging. The noise stays until the truck is just about stopped. I took out the main gear in the hubs and the noise still comes back. I appreciate any help that I can get,
Mike
Are they the factory hubs or aftermarket ? Are all brake bolts tightened: caliper, caliper brakets ? Is it both sides or one side ? So, when you come to a stop, it sort of "resets itself" ?

Factory hubs. yep, all the brake associated parts are tight. As far as the sound/feel, it depends on which side af the truck your sittin in. You are 100% correct, once you slow to a stop the "noise/feel" resets itself.
Thanks
Somethings not right. When you finally figure this out I'd like to know. I'm waiting for someone else to chime in that has had this problem. I don't think a bearing hub would do that, but you never know.
Sorry, didn't mean to make it sound like you said it was the hub bearings rugermack, just making a general statement.
I've seen disc brakes do this (make noise when hitting a bump) when the pads get worn down a bit. It should change or even stop if the brakes are applied if this is the case. Not a serious issue, but annoying.
Otherwise, the front axle U-joints may have a problem.

I've tried hitting the brakes and it makes no change in the noise. I'm at my wits end.
Thanks to all for your help,
Mike
