I have seen several running around that have the side walls splayed out sideways. Kind of looks like they must have loaded something like gravel and the weight pushed the walls out sideways. Pretty sad. Don't think I have ever seen this problem with an American truck. Guess cause most American trucks were designed to be working trucks and are built to handle heavy shifting loads. Seems like the Japanese trucks were designed to be commuter cars, take the Ridgleine for example, jeez.
Just my 2 cents.

When I was in the auto repair business I can tell you there was a huge quality difference between the OEM Ford tailgate and aftermarket junk. Never put aftermarket tailgates on a working truck!
