Question Daylight running lights

Does anyone have any idea how to make the daylight runnig lights work on a 2008 F350 King Ranch?

Is there a place for a relay in the power box under the hood or is there one in the fuse panel inside the cab of the truck?

I would like to make them work if possible.

Thanks for any help you can give me

Bill

Should be possible since it's required in Canada. Check with your dealer.

I keep a hat on the dash and when I want the lights on during the day, I just use the hat to cover the R2D2 like sensor on the dash. Works great no mods needed.

or you could just flip the switch all the way over to where the lights are on instead.

Well I know I could just turn on the lights with the switch but the DRLs operate a little different in that they run on reduced power. On my 2007 F350 there is a relay that can be added and a fuse. Not a problem.

On my 2008 King Ranch F350 I can't find any thing in the fuse box or power box that shows the relay or any info on the DRLs.

In the manual on operating it says the same thing as the 07 says. Head light switch off, key on, parking brake disengaged.

Anyway thanks for the response to my questions. I was hoping one of the techs might see this and come up with the answer. I think one of the empty spaces in the power box might be where the relay would go. I will keep searching. Anyone know where I might look?
