Headers,
never used em,dont know much about em.
Got a 351m ina '79 4x4 F350, what manufacturers should i look at,a re there different kinds for different types of driving?

long tube is supposed to be best for truck etc...better torque. Make is important as headers will warp, rust and look like crap in very little time... fit can also be an issue even when it's supposed to so i'd search this and the 73-79 truck forum as there will be copius info.
Also ceramic coating inside and out is best by far... but is not always done right...some take off the factory paint and use bbq grill paint...again inside and out...most rust is inside from what i hear.
imo headers are only a good bet when it's done right and considering you have to redo your system as well...or modify it every time you change i'd only want to screw with it once....in a while :-)
