Columbus, OH -- A couple of third graders have figured out how to rescue wedgie victims and turn a profit at the same time.
Jared and Justin Serovich are the twin inventors of the "Rip Away 1,000." They say it all started when he and his brother got in trouble for giving each other wedgies at home. Their mom joked over dinner that someone should invent wedgie-proof underwear, but the twins took it seriously and did exactly that for an upcoming invention convention.
Here's how it works: The bottom seam and side seams of the underwear are secured with velcro. When a bully tries to give a wedgie the underwear simply rips away.
