steering gearbox ???
posted with problem a while back about steering gearbox going south. had some posts that referred me to anything from ford ranger to f-350 would swap out. had difficulty at work (couldn't get away from it) and haven't fixed problem yet. questions i got is does it matter what year ford ranger, etc, etc, and do any or all of these units just bolt right up to the same bolt patterns without having to modify anything. time is kinda short right now cause while it's dry, gotta run the trackhoe during the day and work on computer at night. any guidance will be much appreciated.

thanx typefour! should be easy enough to find something in that wide range. got to get it fixed. armstrong steering is not very fun with large diesel engine and 4x4 running gear trying to turn.
