priming bare metal
i had my cab and doors media blasted.
body shop was to pirme them.
body shop used epoxy primer but didnt sand first, they just wiped down and primed, is this right, or should they have sanded first?

You don't necessarily have to sand, I always do just to show any imperfections. You're going to want to apply another coat of primer though so you can block it out before painting. Epoxy primers can be difficult to sand at times and may tend to ball up in the paper.
