Disabling My Alarm???
Thanks in advance for any help!
My truck is an '04 F250 Super Duty 6.0...crew cab.
I'm sick and tired of the alarm system!!! I have the key fob with the three buttons...unlock, lock, and the red panic button.
I don't need a danged alarm...it has caused far more trouble than good, going off at the worst times...is there any way to disconnect the sucker?

Are you just hitting the panic button and making it go off? If so just pull apart the
remote and remove the contacts for that button(panic) The locks will still work but you won't have to worry about it going off when you put the fob in your pocket.
Once you have the remote apart you will either see the tiny switches with the rubber
spot in the center or basically just metal with a springyness to it, Just get some sharp
dykes and cut the switch away or the contacts. Make sure to pull the batteries out
and that there is no left over metal making contact or touching other parts inside.
