F100 Supernationals??

I have attended 8 out of the last 10 shows, both with and without a truck.
Mixed feelings about the location same as everyone else. But for the quality of the show, all the trucks, guest vehicles, vendors etc, I haven't found another one comparable in size and quality for F100's, even on their worst year. Plan to keep attending as long as it is in the regional area.

I've gone, sporadically, since it was at the "Dirty Dancing" hotel on Lake Lure (NC). PF was so crowded before it was moved to Knox that a friend said you could barely open your truck doors! As a matter of fact, some trucks had to park in a hotel parking lot across from the Grand and the judges drove by and judged your truck that way. Real fair.
The first year in Knox they lost half the trucks from the previous year in PF.
If the come back to PF there is a place that can be used (sorry, I don't remember the name) where the SE Nats (street rods) are held that will more than hold the 1600 trucks that were reportedly at PF the last year.

That would be good. I miss the good old days of talkin in the parkin lot and lookin at trucks till way early in the morning! I was there in PF when the judges had to drive up and down the street to judge, and youre right it was so UNFAIR! But of course if you're goin for a trophy down there you're goin for the wrong reason. When I first got my truck done that was why I went to shows and I was miserable. Now I just go to hang out and help if I can.

Shades of the Past show gets 2000+ cars which is held in PF. The location is right at the edge of the strip and is not on the hot, hot pavement but in grass. I have never attended the truck events but I have been considering it now that I have an F1. PF is a great place for shows. The wives can shop while we enjoy our hobby.
