I've been on here for a while never posted much just read the latest stuff....I started a thread last year about how great my truck was and for everybody else that had no problems with theirs....so much to my amazment my truck has started showing it's JUNK SIDE....missed all the recalls never been in the shop for anything....3yrs old warranty out....EXCEPT ENGINE...34k HARDLY DRIVEN...HEAVIEST THING EVER HAD BEHIND IT IS A MUSTANG....NOW FOR THE GOOD STUFF......LOOSING COOLANT ....OIL LEAK.....SMELL DIESEL FUEL BADLY THIS MORNING ON MY WAY TO WORK... ON A GOOD NOTE RUNS PERFECT....I'VE BOUGHT MY LAST FORD...AND I work for dealership and we have a ford store...My problem is I don't want to take it apart and end up worse than it was....yes it has a programmer in the mid file for econmy...and it's lifted...but a 40K truck you would think Navistar would get their head out of their *** and do something with all the truck problems.....with this motor... Dodge is looking better everyday....
Ford says DO NOT USE A PROGRAMMER. You wanna play, you pay! Go buy your Durge. Goodbye!
+1, oh and just so you know, I hear the new Dodge 6.7 is having turbo problems similar to the 6.0 when they first hit the market, a friend of mine had his replaced after 1500 miles on it. Nothing is perfect. lol.
THATS THE PROBLEM I DON'T PLAY...If the truck won't stand up to no more than I've done with it...it should be a Ranger....instead of a suposed work truck...built Ford tough yea....Right...I drive a 46 year old nova rat rod wagon back and forth to work ...lets see where these piles are in 46 years
Why don't you just take it in. If you have other transportation, i would just let them take their time with it. If it is not running worth a crap, why not take your chances that they will fix it. In my experience, my truck has never came back worse than when i brought it in to a dealer.
Remove tuner and return it for warranty repair and quityabitchin' I'm sure FoMoCO didn''t put the tuner on it....Warranty doesn't say no tuner unless you keep it in mid-file, it says no engine modifications!! You DID play.
4 year old truck runs perfect but you apparently have some minor coolant, oil and fuel leaks. Thats brutal, I wouldn't ever buy that brand again either.
And the Navistar corporation, even though the fuel and coolant leaks could be coming from Fords plumbing, they should be blacklisted nonetheless.
F250SPORT is being a F250POORSPORT ha ha my lawn also turned brown after i didn't water it for a while. I missed all the notices to water so now dirt sounds better everyday.....

the sarcasim is very thick.... LOL, i love it!
I've had more problems with my 4cyl gasser than i have had with my truck
F250SPORT, a New User is off-line due to excessive flaming.
When he comes back (if he comes back) perhaps he'll be more illimitable to the worthiness of his 6oh.
Well, I'm a proud owner of a 1/2/03 bone stock six-oh with 67k miles, and I've had Ford replace the turbo for stuck vanes and replaced the IC as a result of the stuck vanes, and that's it.
So if you really want to keep your PSD, then take out the toy-box, pay your $100 bucks and get over it.
