1995 Explorer Eddie Bauer Head Unit Installation Question

Hey folks!
This is my first post so please be gentle! :P

I am installing a premium sound headunit into my 95 explorer. I purchased a harness adapter and a "blue box" that was recommended. The question I have is one of the connectors on the harness does not match up though it is stated to be for the right year and make. There are two connectors in the truck and it is the smaller one I am referring too. The pin out in the adapter harness does match but the plastic is reversed to what is in the truck and a slight bit larger.

Is there a plastic adapter for the adaptor or did I just end up with the a case of false advertising?

Any help would be appreciated!

You may want to check with the original vendor or Manufacture (if they have a number) to double check your vehicle info Vs. to what is in the book... and what you have in-hand.
