Great motor!

I finally got it in the truck and running.

460 bored 30 over
ported and polished D3ve heads with 2.19 stainless intake valve,1.76 stainless exhaust valve, upgraded springs to match cam, bronze valve guides
roller rockers 1.8 ratio with 7/16 studs, guide plates, stud girdles, and 3/8" pushrods
solid roller cam 232 intake and 240 exhaust duration .608" intake lift .63" exhaust lift 112 degree lobe separation 107 degree intake centerline
torker II intake
850cfm carb
2" primary 3-1/2" collector headers with 3-1/2" racing muffler exhaust
11.2:1 compression using domed forged pistons at zero deck
H-beam chromemoly rods
Main stud girdle
I am run it through a beefed up c-6 with a 2500 stall convetor in a 4x4 f-150.
The truck idles smooth at 800rpm and pulls 17" of vaccum.
Im running a mix of fuel to get 100 octane.
I would love to have this thing on a dyno. The 400 that was in this truck before was like a 4cyl compared to a 8cyl.
This site has been very helpful in my decisions during the build of this motor.

L&L .They are heavy duty and come in chassis exit and fender exit. I have the chassis type and one is very close to my oil pan (1/32")on the drivers side. It takes a good pipe man to get the drivers pipe to the back. Jeff Bronco Graveyard carries them.
