now that it's a little cooler in the mornings i've noticed that the truck is spitting & sputtering a little a rough idle and a lot of smoke at start up also a real lack of power and a harsh shift into gears. once i drive about a 1/2 mile everything is fine since i'm new to fords i'm looking for suggestions
sounds a little worse than my experience, but i had two injectors on their way out. same symptoms. take it in and they can determine what injector or injectors are causing the miss, they will probably aslo introduce the flash to inductive heating to help eliminate this problem in the future
I took mine to the dealer today to have some work done and they asked me if I have experienced any of the symptoms you mentioned. And I have noticed since it got colder it sounds and shifts rough. They said that I need the new flash done. I currently have the buzz flash. I thought that the newest flash and the buzz flash do the same thing just in a different way.

yes ,it is 5yr 100kmi engine warranty but you will be responsible for the deductible which is $100 ,
mind you any aftermarket parts could potentially void the warranty. depending on the dealer. some will try to void warranty work for modified exhaust systems i.e removed cat
i'll have to look at the original bill of sale on the truck because it's an 03 f 250 also since i didn't install the banks does it just un plug or is it more complicated
On the driver side exhaust manifold, toward the firewall. It should be silver in color. Removing it will leave a hole in the manifold though, unless you can find a plug to fit it.
