New Work Truck

I'll be getting a new 2007 F150 at work in the next few weeks to replace a 2000 Chev pickup. I have a strange feeling that I will like driving my own 87 F150 Lariat better than driving the new Ford. I know I like the looks of the 87 better. Anybody else prefer driving old trucks to new ones??

there are some nice things about driving the older ones, but its hard to beat the smooth ride and running experience of the new ones!!! a guy's got to have one of each...

Those new F-150s are awesome. You won't want to drive anything else....ever.

Unless of course you are lucky enough to own a 1978 or 1979 Bronco.

Believe me I've driven in both, one is a commuter vehicle the other is a BRONCO.

Well, it's here, I've been driving it since Wednesday. 5.4 L, 2007 F150, it has about 500 km on it by now. Very smooth, fast but....
it's an extended cab with an 8' box, and 163" of wheelbase. !!
It's like driving a bus! I'm in the midst of arguing with our fleet guys. They say you can't get a regular cab anymore, I think they just screwed up the tender. Even though I'm right (I think), I'm probably stuck with the Supercab.
I was right, I do like driving the 87 XLT better!
