Hi, I am a new member, need some good advice, I have a 1995 Ford f-250 7.3 liter diesel with about 150000 miles, the turbo pedestal is leaking oil, badly, I have taken it apart and put new O rings on the lower and upper pedestal, but this has not helped, did I do something wrong, should I also have put a sealer between both? I can not see oil leaking from anywhere else. Please help.

Welcome to FTE. You need to see where the oil is coming from. Where do you see the oil? On the ground? In the engine valley? The pedisal itself can leak at the EBPV.
There are a other places for the oil to be leaking from. There are 2" plugs on the back of the head that are really hard to see. Use a mirror and lot of light.
oil is leaking into the valley of the engine (7.3) as a matter of fact it seems to be ozzing from between the turbo and top of the pedestal. Like I said before I have replaced the o rings top and bottom of the pedestal/turbo, the leaks have slowed down, but not by much.
mjm I am having the same problem ,mine isn,t leaking as bad as yours ,I posted this topic yesterday, got some good info for a fix, from cuda and others you should check it out
I went through this with a custoemr truck. I pulled that damn turbo no less then 10 times before I fannaly just put a whole differnt turbo on it to fix it. Turns out the bearing housing was cracked but you cant see the cracked, I looked everytime I had it off but could never see one.
