6.0 mods

I have a 2004 6.0 liter c/c fx4 straight piped and intake but what homemade mods can
i personally do to my truck and not spend a fortune. Any input on how to get any sweet hp gains out of my truck would be great.

There are a couple things you can do but they will not increase hp much if any. Check the tech folder at the top of the page. You can do things like the zoodad mod or ...

The most important thing you can do is put the stock air filter setup back on. It does a better job of filteration and has plenty of flow up to 400HP. Since I'm planning on keeping my truck for at least 150,000 to 200,000 miles, my mods are mostly for longevity. See my signature for ideas.

If you want to mod the 6.0 you will need a second job to keep up around here.

I've seen stock trucks lift heads, lol. Its all really luck of the draw. You can do stuff to help prevent it like adding studs and good head gaskets but even trucks that have these can puke coolant out.
