I just bought a used f250 4x4, and it came with bf goodrich 265/70 all terains. The tires are rubbing the leaf springs in the front when the wheel is all the way turned. Is this a normal problem or should i get something checked out?
mine rubs the right spring at FULL turn if I crank to the right......rims are correct offset.....just a Ford thing! Seems odd that yours would rub with 265/70's! I am running 315/75/16's. Mine didn't rub at all running 305/70/16's
That doesn't seem right. Take a picture of the wheels and tire, I have a feeling someone put either aftermarket or 05-up rims on your truck which have the wrong offset.
I had aftermarket rims 4.5 BS i think with a 4 in lift and 35 in tires... no rubbing
now have a 8 in lift with same rims and 37 in tires... get slight rubing on front left leaf spring, but the tires are Swampers and the big lugs rub, once they get a lil more worn, I am thinking it will stop...

I have a feeling that your right, considering he said he has 265/70's.
265/70R17 would have been the factory size for '05-up. Factory on his '03 would have been 265/75R16.
